The Test of Time
What can really stand the test of time?
Shipmates, lost at sea, like scurvy and lime.
Take this blessing, for I need it not;
Just use it wisely, and ’twill be yours to give.
Secrets, hidden in the flowers, buzzing brightly.
Mankind, ephemeral, at least in relativity.
Wrapped in crowded coils as a lost gaze,
Much easier to turn lead than purple haze.
Emotion, feeling, longing is the only constant;
Hermes to Victoria, chatting ladies always recover.
