It appeared that several hundred worker bees had started to gather together and form a swarm straight above him. Alistair had never seen anything quite like this and for the first time all day, a real sense of panic set in. The tiny creatures, with not even so much as a brain to process a thought had gathered together to defend Caleb.

Jessica had finally returned to her senses, whilst sitting on the bench outside, and was beginning to wonder how exactly this all started. She remembered a simple breakfast with her father, which led to a bike ride out to the bee farm. Her bike was still resting against the wall where she had left it, but she started becoming concerned over the whereabouts of her father. Just as she rose to set about looking for him, she saw him come storming out of the only door to the structure, in a ball of fury.
