Much Better Together
Come what may, life is better with you around.
The wheels on the bus go ’round and ’round.
A drawing room constructed of oak and plaster,
What would it take to make you move faster?
Try each day, the key just won’t unlock the door.
Worn around my neck with the veil of folklore.
Passed down through time from Paradise Lost,
Forbidden fruit, so sweet and full of juice.
To be everywhere and nowhere all at once,
By my side, if not forever, at least for the nonce.
