Part XV:
When not caught in a state of disrepair, Harjen was in a state of evolution that brought with it a sense of fullness that could only be compared to a migratory state. While only serving to continue his own mutated aspect of things, he began to realize that he was only beginning to morph his own perception of it.
Futile as it may seem, he went about trying to communicate this vision, not only to himself, but also in a small journal that he carried along with him. This journal, although it had become worn from wear and weather, contained some if his innermost thoughts and feelings, those which he could be certain had only been manifest in times of futility,
As he began to study the crystal in the middle of the cave, Harjen noticed that it grew at an alarming pace. Most structures within uderground caves only grow one to several inches per year. The fact that the crystal housed in the center of this secret lair grew at such a fast pace was something to be marvelled at.
