Defused Dilemma
Jack came for a day, Jill stayed for a week;
They rode it out like a fading hot streak.
Caught off guard by thirty dogs;
Rolling down a river on top of logs.
It morphed from a problem small
And became a dilemma rather tall.
We worked all night as time ran out;
First the blue, then red we slowly cut.
Before we knew it time stood still
And Jack and Jill rolled down the hill.
